My Story
Based out of Roslyn New York, Robert Kohr is an Emmy Award-winning Animation Director for Nickelodeon’s marketing team. With over 20 years of experience at Nickelodeon, he has showcased his expertise in game development, character animation, motion graphics, art direction, animation direction, and VFX supervision. Kohr has contributed to a diverse array of properties, from beloved preschool IPs like Dora the Explorer to iconic Nickelodeon franchises such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Loud House. Kohr’s portfolio includes his debut film, “The Lift” screened at over 55 festivals and acclaimed in various award ceremonies. He also co-directed a short film for Legend of Korra, earning a Silver BDA. In 2014, Robert received his first Emmy Nomination for Nickelodeon’s Halloween Network IDs, his second Emmy nomination for the 2016 Kids Choice Awards, and finally won an Emmy in 2023 for Nickelodeon’s rebrand.
