Its been well over 18 months since I started working for Zephyr Games on their Kirin Wars Project. That said, my company, Kohrtoons Studio hired 6 artists to complete the in game animations and cutscene animations for this game. The game design and illustration was designed by George Berger of Black Burst Media, he also assisted in the illustration for Act 3 (not shown). The in game animations where all completed using Adobe Flash and then the sprites were generated using some funky Photoshop plugins and Zwoptex (A must have for any iOS artist). Other than there being over 60 characters in this game that need animation they also needed to confirm to 3 different color schemes (blue, red & green), which was accomplished by swapping swatches in flash. The cutscenes where all animated in Animate 2 Pro. I have to say thanks to Bobby Khounphaysane and Teddy Hose for all their hard work on the in game animations. Wes Gunn & Israel Cruz did a super job illustrating all the backgrounds in the cut scenes and Micheline Hess and George Berger made some great still art for the videos as well.
